The xiaolongbao is chef kiss. Rice on top portions are hefty and packed with flavor, there's also complimentary tea as you wait for your order. The place is quite small with few seatings so it's quite tight. Ambience isn't quite there yet but I'll definitely go back for the food, especially their xiaolongbao.
Ling Chan (Chinese Restaurant in Marikina) Location: Marikina City, Panorama Review: I recently visited a Ling Chan Chinese restaurant in Marikina, which had just opened its doors on its fourth day of operation. I ordered the Beef Broccoli for takeout, and here's my review of the food, service, and overall experience: I placed my order for the Beef Broccoli at 7:35pm and received it at 7:50pm. The prompt delivery time was appreciated, especially considering it was only their fourth day of operation. The crew members were welcoming and accommodating, which added a friendly touch to the din…
The first time I tried their food was via GrabFood a week ago and I liked their Xiao long bao and fried Shanghai. Then today I visited their place in Panorama. From Bayan-Marikina, just ride the SSS jeepney; it’s located near Puregold Panorama (last stop). Place is small with air conditioning. Service was good with complimentary hot tea while waiting. I ordered xia long bao again and braised beef rice. Once again, sulit and masarap ang food.
Food was overall okay, but not as good as food vloggers seem to say. The xiao long bao was really tasty. This is highly recommended. We also had their beef noodle soup - the broth was good, but the noodles were a bit soggy even though we ate it as soon as it arrived. Their yang chao fried rice tastes a bit bland. We had their lumpiang shanghai as well (not included in the pic because it arrived last.) The spring roll was really meaty, but taste-wise, it was just so-so for me. What I can say is their servings are plentiful, so we were able to take home some of the spring rolls and also about o…
Maliit yung place, 3-4 tables. Pero di kami nag antay since mostly ng order for to go. Nag order kami ng siomai 90php for 4pcs and beef noodles 220php. Serving size of the noodles was small for the price. It tastes authentic but less of the Chinese-y taste which I like (I think it’s the star anise that’s giving this flavor) decent portion yung meat and ang lambot. I really wished madami din yung noodles and bokchoy. I enjoyed the siomai, bagong lasa siya for me. I cannot compare it to any other siomai that I’ve had before. Service was okay. Food was served fast :)
