More of a delivery and take out branch because of its small location. Same Ling Nam we've always known decades back. Order the usual noodle soups and the steam pork buns if you are in a hurry. The pork bun is PHP 75 each with size shown in photo below. Space can accommodate around 8 to 10 persons. Hot tea served for free for dinein customers. The porridge... Taste is ok, texture is ordinary as they use ordinary rice, not the sticky type.
This was more of a nostalgic visit. Ling Nam was one of the most popular wonton noodle places back in the 80s. Sadly, the quality just isn't that good anymore and the price is high for what it serves. Guess that's what happens when it is sold to a big corporation.
I ordered Bola atay congee but was not available, opted for the bola congee instead. It was only 8 in the morning. The congee tasted bland and a bit burnt bottom pan. Staffs were also undermanned. Anyway, It was on their soft opening and i believe the foods and services will improve over time. Update: we went there a couple of times this sept and oct 2019 but it was closed Nov 2022 Updates: New location just across the street where the Soy & Bean is located
Wala na kaming ibang mahanap na kainan. Too pricey for the quality. You can literally eat the same thing for so much less. And as you can see sobrang liit ng meat??? Di worth it
I was in the middle of finishing my classic Beef Wanton mami and lo and behold... a small insect (which looked like a baby cockroach) peeked under the noodles! Never going back to thid branch again!
