Was really looking forward to coming here after reading so many positive reviews. The menu items are really good size, but some of the flavor is a bit off. Mac and cheese needs more salt and flavor. Fried chicken was a little bit cold. The Tikka chicken wrap needs to be mixed in the tortilla because you either get a lot of lettuce or meat. The highlight is the banana bread dessert which is a great balance of salty with the peanut butter and sweet. Definitely worth going just for the dessert.
My brother and I went here to try since read some reviews that their ribs and salad are delicious. And yeah, they’re really delicious specifically the salad that we ordered. I didn’t expect that taste. It has lots of ingredients inside the salad. While in the ribs, they should offer a side sauce or make it more saucy since it’s a little bit dry. But overall all experience was nice. The staffs are very accommodating and attentive to our needs. Plus, you can chill near at the beach side.
It's a great restaurant! The portions are generous, especially the gyro, sausage, salad & samosa. The baked oysters are delicious, and the shepherd's pie is also tasty. I didn't get to sample their craft beers, so I'll have to return for that. It was a bit crowded, and the air conditioning was a bit chilly for a beach setting.
I love their Risotto here, highly recommended. The Oyster Rockefeller is also great, it is served in rock-salt. Their Banana peanut butter shake is good, not that sweet which I really love. The Pork Schnitzel is not good. For the price, it’s toooooo thin. It’s just full of potato fries at the bottom just to make it pop or look high and thick. Very disappointing. Overall the price is good enough, as expected for the fancy place and the food they are serving. The staff are also attentive and can speak english
I wasn't impressed with this place tonight for dinner. Sadly they were out of a lot of options (no oysters, ribs, Pizza, Prawns) which limited the options. Had cheese and jalapeño croquettes- these tasted like a frozen starter, no jalapeño taste and pretty greasy (weird sesame oil salad dresses) which made the greasy taste worse. Fish and chips- this was pretty poor, I'm sure the chips were left overs reheated as didn't taste fresh. Tikka masalla - this was very nice but had zero heat/spice and the sauce was pretty greasy. Food tasted like basic pub food but was expensive for the qualit…
