Tucked away in typical izakaya fashion, this place as other reviewers have said seems poplar with the local Japanese folk and i understand why - it's just the authentic experience. Salmon Don and Pork Tonkatsu were fantastic, time permitting will come back to sample more. A slice of Japan in Makati

Authentic Japanese style restaurant. Ramen and the katsudon is quite good, the sushi is even better. But the yakitori is the best of all, it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The only complaint I have is the ramen egg as it was just a seasoned hard boiled egg. Ramen egg needs to be soft boiled and have a semi runny yolk.

Great food. Good service. Ok atmosphere Katsu curyy was crunchy and hot while sauce is authentic. Service was good. Food was served after 10minutes Restaurant feels authentic Japanese with lot's of Japanese in it too. Not the cleanest though

In a small corner of Makati, hidden behind the veil of darkness, lies a Japanese izakaya that has garnered quite a following among the local Japanese populace. This establishment only opens its doors at night, creating an atmosphere of exclusivity and intrigue. I stumbled upon this place with my friends a few years back, and we've been regulars ever since.
