I give M Dining 5 stars out of 5 stars I had dinner here with my wife and a friend last week. The food was fabulous. Service was excellent. The interior and ambiance of the restaurant are elegant. To top this off - M Dining / Tom Bascon managed to satisfy all of our senses.

M is one of my favorite places to have dinner when I visit Makati. They have a nice bar to grab a nice glass of wine or cocktail before being seated. Service is superb and have never been disappointed. Had the Skate Meuniere, Homemade Potato Chips and Wagyu Gyouza and all were excellent!!

Absolutely amazing meal at M Dining. Even the complimentary bread was very good. Started of with the French Onion soup which was well balanced and the Wagyu & Foie dumpling which was luxuriously delish. The Uni Spaghetti was amazing—the aroma of the sea hits you immediately but the balance of flavors is what stands out. For the main course, we had the Roasted Pork Belly in Sweet Ponzu. The sauce was so good—sweet, salty, sour. My only comment is that I thought it should be a bit thicker so it blends well with the garlic rice. We also had the Lamb chops which was so tender. We attended a birthday party so I can't comment on the price. The other foods were pretty ok. I liked the chorizo bites and the pasta we ate. The steak was probably the worst steak I've ever eaten. It was overcooked (I asked for medium but came out well done), the beef tasted like it was marinated in Chinese seasonings, but they put Western sauces to pair. The dessert was very sweet but it was good.

I only went for the brunch menu. Service was excellent! All dishes were well balanced and used high quality ingredients. The best dishes were the bacon and soy eggs and the ricotta pancakes. Soy eggs were a nice twist to a classic bacon and egg recipe. The pancakes were not too sweet, light, and fluffy. Ambiance is vibrant, yet still private and intimate. This was a big improvement from their pre-renovated restaurant which I found a bit too dark. Only downside was thathere was no selection of breakfast pastries to accompany the meal.
