Tried the Sheng Jian Bao - soup dumplings, it was great! I don't think you would find anything similar to this in manila area. The dumpling is smaller than your usual siopao, but the filling to bao proportion is big, quality meat and with sauce inside, the bao is also thin so won't be to heavy.
The Sheng Jian Bao is actually good, but I won't say it's value for money. It's a crossover between shiao long bao and steamed gyoza. Love the wintemelon juice - so refreshing. The chicken was a bit salty for my taste. The pancake for me was disappointing also, it doesn't complement the chicken and vice versa.
Mall setup. Orders are prepared and cooked upon order so it will take some time.
This place is located right besides the entrance of Robinson supermarket and it has opened even before the pandemic started. The staff is friendly as well. Normally, we ordered these for the breakfast, but I considering this can be tasted as snacks and meals. Sheng Jian bao, which is like Xiao Long Bao, is their signature, I also consider their fried pork buns is also delicious. You should try them if you like buns and dumplings. I am totally full when I try to eat 6 of the pork buns.
A small store beside the Robinsons Supermarket. Just keep your eyes open to see it! They serve so called Shanghai delicacies like fried soup dumplings and pan fried bread. Service is fast and price is affordable. Best of you want a light and quick snack or meal.
