Mala House is the pick-your-ingredient noodle and hotpot restaurant located on the upper ground floor of the SM Annex Bldg. You can choose your desired hotpot ingredients from dimsums to mushrooms, seafoods and meat. Noodles are optional. You need to present the collected raw ingredients to the counter for weighing. The price is P1.1 per gram, with a minimum of 100 grams to proceed with the checkout. Spices and other condiments are provided alongside cutlery or utensils. You can see the Malaysian flag therein, as the owner is a Malay national.

Im not a fan of hotpots so this is somewhat new to me. Good to know the staff provides prompt service. It is annoying the lower half of the ingredients doesn't have labels, I had to keep asking what they were. It would've been nice if there was a weighing scale so I could check by myself. I asked if they have a menu where I dont have to pick the ingredients, they said no. Payment process was super fast, I was kind of shocked it reached P378. They should show/explain how it was computed before paying. The food tray was sort of heavy and I didnt get a lot of ingredients so I was surprised. …
