When I entered the restaurant, I was immediately approached to ask how many chairs I need and was given the menu right away. The waiter didn't leave me until my orders are okay. I tried the Lechon Macau and Mango Sago. Both are good and okay for the price. Just my standard for Lechon Macau is north park's Lechon Macau. Maybe, I would suggest for them to have the Lechon Macau over the yang chow version. Also, I like that the Mango sago has its own version of yummy sago. I think you may also add pinipig on it.
This Mann Hann branch served me the best tasting and perfectly cooked Lutong lechon macau. The calamares is also nicely cooked, its crunchy, crispy, and not gummy. The sago gulaman is refreshing although a little sweet. Service was fast but probably due to few customers dining in during our meal. Interiors are simple but stylish. Overall, a great experience.
When I think of comfort food, I think of Mann Hann. This branch has a unique interior, making it more pleasing and attractive. We ordered six dishes and the food was served after a 15-minute wait. All tasted flavorful aside from the Roast Chicken Noodle. There was just a little mishap, and the crew served a cold beverage instead of the hot option. It was a delightful visit, nonetheless. They have an all-gender restroom.
The place feels spacious, even more so because of its mirrored walls. The staff is very accommodating, quick to cater to the customers. The food is all right, just traditional comfort food, and it does not astound or surprise you. The huge let-down was the mango sago, it was very icy.
We got our usual orders of Prawn Wrapped in Bacon, Beef with Broccoli, and Yang Chow Fried Rice, and they are our comfort food. Tried their buchi and mango sago but we have tasted a lot of better ones in other Chinese restos.
