A nice, clean and popular branch of Muragame Udon. The food is up to standard for a Muragame udon branch. I ordered my regular, and what I also think is the best dish of Muragame, the beef ontama bukkake. It was really good, with a nice jelly-like egg and the beef was well seasoned. The noodles were perfectly cooked, no raw bit in the center, with a nice bite. The seating is a little bit cramped. However, they have good climate control. The airconditioning is cold enough to keep the area cool during peak hours and through the kitchen heat. There's no backrests for most of the seats. There'…
It was loaded with tender meat. We have dine to their other branches and most of the time I don’t have complain. I ordered Karamisu Beef Udon, this one is too salty for me. I haven’t tried this in other branches, so I am not sure if that is how it should taste. But still The richness of the flavor is amazing. I went during weekdays on lunch and there are many available seat. Didn’t have an issue with the service.
Recommended by my wife’s friend. We celebrated the birthday (actually belated) of my wife’s cousin studying in UP Diliman. We all enjoyed the food and much more than expected of its affordable prices. Find yourselves a table, lineup and select your food. Udon and rice meals will be served to your table and the rest you can bring right away. Great Japanese restaurant ambiance.
Japanese udon counter service style outlet in Uptown mall. Serving standing counter for orders of various dishes. Though lacks the choice of firmness of noodle compared to same types of restos in Japan. Interiors are often busy with tables in mess hall style that is very casual. There is also a self serve station for condiments, utensils and wster. All in all an informal setting good for groups.
Food: I ordered Beef Gyudon, Curry Rice, and Pork Tonkatsu. The price is a tiny bit higher than I expected, but with the amount of food and overall experience, I'll give it a pass. Service: They greet and say their goodbyes in Japanese. The people who serve your food are nice, but the cashiers take a bit of time when your payment is through GCash. I'll give them a pass, too, since we took our time with our payments. Atmosphere: The place is kind of small and narrow to move around, but the ambiance is good. I remember hearing music, but it was mostly OPM. I kind of wish they played more Japa…
