I love this new branch of Marugame. The atmosphere is calming and inviting, which is the same with their other existing branches. The staff are very polite and accommodating, even for newbies who do not know what to order. However, you have to dine in early at lunch since it easily becomes full house. And of course, the food is the best.

The atmosphere was nice, but as a Japanese person, I found the food not very tasty. It was too salty, and they didn’t ask if I wanted it hot or cold, which was disappointing. I understand it might be a cultural difference, but they should stop taking the easy way out. I received the cold version, but it was lukewarm, as they just lightly splashed some water on it. Additionally, when I tried to pay with a 1,000-peso bill, they refused, claiming they didn’t have change, and even looked into my wallet, telling me to pay with my 500 and 100 peso bills. 1.Service should be improved. 2.The thinly sliced pork used for spicy pork udon is too dry (feels like i'm eating a rubber) 3.The trainee earlier seems like she doesn't know what to do. Please guide your trainees so that other customers should not experience this bad service. 4. overall it's not the best Marugame Udon branch. Might go back next month, and see for improvements.
