Ate Thursday night, had enough parking in a not so busy area of traffic. Dining experience was good, the waiter was very accommodating and engaged in conversation about the food they serve. Melon shake and cucumber yogurt shake were excellent. Finally had ox brain after years, serving was good and plenty. Also order deep fried fish and beef something, i forgot. Food was delicious and had lots of rice with it. Overall, good time and will definitely eat again.
Maryam Kebab House is a restaurant with mixed Iranian and Filipino style cuisine. They have Biryani rice meal also. In a meal, you may choose a local Jasmine Rice or a long grain Basmati Rice. For a Chelo Morgh, it is a long chicken kebab with sidings such as grilled tomato and onion. Keema Bademjan, which is a keema meat with mashed Eggplant, is served with rice. Samosa is also served with sweet-sour tamarind paste combination. A P300+ meal is a big plate set meal already for solo eaters. Kebab House is located along Kamias Road intersection and Maliksi St. in QC.
We came here around 1 AM, it's so hot (the AC isn't turned on) and the service was so slow. The food was bland on its own but if you put salt & pepper + garlic sauce it's actually good. Overall, the experience would have been better if food is a bit more affordable, more flavor without adding condiments and the place is cool with faster service.
Oct 2024: Had chicken beryani. Tasted moldy. My companion's beef beryani did not. I informed the waiter but he didn't say anything. See my leftover. Orig: I love Persian/South Asian food so I was happy to find that this restaurant opened where I usually pass by going home. Food is good and a lot better than Mr. K***b but goodness, service is lousy. The cashier nags the waiting staff and is loud enough to ruin your appetite. The waiters are new and miss basics like giving you utensils or glass. The place is cheesy and looks more like a cafeteria. Will I be coming back? Yes, because I like t…
First of all, they don't issue an Official Receipt. What they will give you instead is a run of the mill Order Slip. The prices are high for a place like this. The chicken in chicken shawarma is dry and lacks flavor. The chicken in the chicken biryani is undercooked. The basmati rice seems to have too much turmeric. The waiters are untrained. They seem to be busy with other chores. They also weary shabby clothes. The sauces are watery and lacks spiciness. The comfort room stinks. We won't go back to this place.
