Authentic Korean dishes, tasty, flavorful and reasonably-priced. Though the location is not glamorous, food quality and customer service more than makeup for the unadorned setting. Definitely worth travelling for, and going back to!

the food is sooooooooooooo good!!! its like eating in a restaurant in korea! we ordered jokbal, jeyuk bokkeum, kimchi jjigae and haemul pajeon and they were all so good! the side dishes are equally so good. the owner and staff are all so nice and helpful. my friends and i are definitely coming back! 🫶🏼

Excellent alternative if you’re tired of the usual samgyeopsal unli eating. The side dishes here are really good, like you’ve been invited to an ajumma’s house. 😂 Not too pricey as well.

If you are looking for an authentic Korean restaurant, you must visit Matzzip! 🫶 I am so happy that my friends and I found this restaurant along Timog Avenue! We got kimchi jjigae, jeyuk bokkeum, haemul pajeon, and jokbal. It was ajuuu nice! 😆 The portions are also good for sharing. Their side dishes were delicious, too! We bought kimchi and fish cake for take out~ The owner and his staff are so accommodating and kind. They even gave us free coffee and tofu dishes. Our experience was very pleasant and we can't wait to go back! Thank you so much! 💖

I really like the sauce of their cucumber side dish. I just hope it's refillable, though we haven't asked. I also forgot to take pic of the food before eating so here's the aftermath lol
