We always eat at Max restaurant every time we go home to the Philippines. We love the foods there because they are authentic Filipino foods.
Waiting time for linch to get a seat for half an hour. No space to increase anymore. 2 big tables outside are ready in case you enjoy fresh air eating.
Air-condition is not functioning well, its hot inside, although they provide electric fan's. But still hot.
I had a spring meal with green mango smoothy. The soup of the day was very diluted and full of cornstarch. The spring chicken was fresh, delicously crispy with the correct amount of salt and very juicy. The rice was fluffy and pipping hot. But the caramel bar was sickly sweet in a bad way and tasted like peanut butter which was confusing. 😐😑😦. The caramel bar tasted like flourly mess. Yuck! The juice was awesomely cleansing and fresh fresh. Overall, the food was just okay but not great. 😅😅😅
Beware of free dessert offers from this resto. It's very clear that a free slice of cake was included in our set meal but they will offer you one whole cake, instead, telling us it's for free since it's part of our order. Later on realized that the cake was itemized separately in the receipt and was charged for it. I have a very high expectation from this place but this experience made me decide not to ever visit them again. What a scam.
