Wow, we didn't realize how much we had missed Max's until we took a bite of the fresh lumpia (the best among mainstream restaurants, I swear) and the fried chicken themselves. This branch is also very nice because you have a beautiful view of the river. (Is that really a river or a creek?) I even almost forgot to take a photo be ause we were so excited. It has been years since we've visited a Max's branch.

My father's favorite resto mainly because of it's chicken, the house specialty! He wouldn't have it any other way! 😉 The store moved out from it's old location and transferred to this new wing (rows of restos near the water park) which is a welcome change of atmosphere, it's bigger and better. It is near the river and has great view with all the decorative lights hanging on the trees when night time falls. As always, the store carries all it's signature recipes to satisfy your cravings. The family enjoyed their dining experience since they've been away from the Philippines for some time. We had crispy pata, lumpia, and chicken plus gulaman and sago. Friendly staff and quick service.

The chicken, 10 out of 10. I don't really care about the other food. My gf loves their sizzling tofu tho. The service was good but the place just didnt feel clean. Still, the chicken is awesome!
