Ninong Max's always provides the best food in town. TBH, I availed my son a Christining package here and the best Privilege was the card we availed, 7 years of FREE (1whole) Fried Chicken on every Birthdays and Christmas from Ninong Max 😍😍😍

Max's was one of our childhood favorite place to eat out. We were disappointed when we ordered solo plates. Some of us ordered a solo plate with 1 piece of chicken and another ordered a solo plate with 2 pieces of chicken. However the portion size of the one with the 2 pieces of chicken is just similar with the one with the 1 piece chicken. Also ordered an add on of fresh lumpiang ubod to the solo plates for around 50 php. The portion size of the lumpia was very small, I could literally finish it in one bite. We ordered chicken, Shanghai fried rice, sizzling gambas and chopsuey for a party of 4. We were 8th in line but only waited for less than 20mins. When we got to our place, there were only 2 place mats and utensils. Service was really really really slow. Had to ff up my service water 2x. Asked for table napkin for 4, and was only given 3 pieces. Our rice was served without serving spoon. Granting that it is Christmas day, so the service is quite forgivable. Max's Restaurant provided a highly disappointing experience. Despite numerous empty tables, they had us waiting outside for an hour. Initially, the female staff member informed us there were no available seats, which was accurate for the first 5 minutes. However, after that time, it became evident that there were plenty of vacant tables. Instead of addressing this, the female staff member engaged in unprofessional behavior, chatting and laughing with another female coworker.

My visit to Max's Restaurant at SM City San Lazaro left much to be desired, earning a mere 1 out of 5 stars from me. The disappointment began with the lackluster service - the staff seemed disinterested and inattentive throughout my dining experience.
