My friends and I had dinner at Mesa on a Wednesday night last month. The dining area had some nice furnishings and was tidy and the seats were comfortable. The service was great. We had a Mesalo-Salo Set inclusive of Locanton Overload, Tinapa Roll Wrapped in Lettuce, Kare-Kare, Pork Barbecue, Suahe in Salted Egg, Mixed Vegetables, Leche Flan, and Iced Tea. All the meals were tasty but my favorites were the Locanton Overlad and the Leche Flan. The price of the meal at ~Php500 per person was a great deal as well!

Crab was meaty. Baby Squid in Olive Oil was good. Pork Binagoongan was perfectly seasoned. But, Crispy Duck was a disappointment as it was on the chewy side. Staff were all attentive.

We had a light dinner and ordered the following for 2 adults and 2 kids; 1 hito flakes 1 fried chicken 1 plain rice 1 locanton The hito flakes was great appetizer. Fried Chicken isn't cooked well which we politely feedback to staff. They cancelled the price for this item as they said they didnt deliver well (our intention is just to really let them know, for their improvement). Locanton - we are really not sure what should be the consistency of the food but my daughter and niece liked this one.

Update: this place is consistently understaffed and service is so slow and not automatic. I’ve come here on several visits and it has not improved. Furthermore on this latest visit there were some shrimp that were not cooked through with parts still raw. Old review: Mesa offers a prime location in a reputable development, boasting a spacious setting. Unfortunately, the dining experience is marred by either poor service or severe understaffing, with a language barrier hindering communication. Drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive, and inspecting turned-over plates revealed cleanliness lapses.…
