We had lunch here yesterday and personally, I was disappointed. We ordered: Falafel wrap - 6/10. It’s okay. The hint of the spice is there but very water down. Hummus with meat - 3/10. Not for me. Sambousak Feta & Cheese - 8/10. This is tasty and I like it. Mixed Kebab Rice - 8/10. The only meat that is tasty here is the kafta. So it’s better to order kafta kebab rice instead. Saj Chicken Shawarma - this is such a disappointment. It’s too bland for me and it’s just meh. The ambience is okay. It has a nice small place and they have an open kitchen. I just feel bad for their staff though …
We had dinner reservation for their Anniversary Buffet. The buffet was done on August of 2024, but I assume that many people have missed out, so they offered it again in September; at the time of writing this review, their latest post on FaceBook, they have announced to make the buffet a monthly affair. The buffet is well worth it for 850 PHP. My absolute favorite is their Cheese Sambousak, along with their Lamb Mandi. Is it worth it for dining? I am not entirely sure. Tried out their shawarma and tasted good but noticed they put 4 large pcs of fries in the middle as a filler meaning your not getting a full wrap of meat. That being said its not worth the money as other shawarma restos similarly priced within the area fill it up completely with competitive taste. Chicken is tender. Owner was manning the cashier and was rude. I was standing for a while infornt of him but he kept talking to his staff. When I went back to have additional orders it took forever , his staff just looked at me only when i was visibly annoyed did they call the owner to man the cash…
Kafta kebab plate was good but beef shawarma wrap was not. It was obvious they ran out of beef shawarma so they ended up stove top cooking some beef to make a wrap that has nothing to do with shawarma. It's now clear why the owner kept insisting on chicken shawarma instead of beef. Not smart 👎
Food: The food is accurate and authentic middle Eastern. Definitely brings back memories in Riyadh. The garlic sauce hits the spot on the shawarma and they have brosted too. Service: The cashier's service is not very accommodating at times (The fat guy taking the order) He'll take your order, but not in a friendly way. He'll also take your order in a serious and moody tone. Atmosphere: The main dining is well air-conditioned and seats for atleast 5-6 groups. Sometimes if your dinner early, they don't turn on the air-condition. And that's okay, let's save electricity. They also have a CR whi…
