Every bite of their burrito brings back those good old college days—so much nostalgia wrapped in a tortilla. It was such a delight dining again at Mexicali. Everything was served delicious and fresh. The restaurant’s clean and I love their playlist. Staff were very warm and welcoming. We’ll comeback for sure! 5/5⭐️ @mariacocinera 💃🏻

The food was great, surprised to see Mexican food in that area. We just saw it after getting a drink from Lola Nena’s. Their food is a must try and I would dine in here again, ambiance is great but it would be great if it’s located in a place with more foot traffic.

I ordered their Carne Asada (Grilled steak) burrito. It is perfect for on-the-go. I ate it almost 1 hour after I got the order, the meat is still tender. The burrito itself is well-seasoned. It gets even better with the add-ons.

1st time visiting this branch, as we usually go tn their glorietta branch. had chicken burrito & grilled veggies enchiladas. food tasted great as always! took a star off because there's an 8% service charge, but it's so hard to get the staff's attention when you want to order or pay. the knives provided were also dirty - there were still flecks of dried food left in them.

With the Eatigo 50% off promo, this can't be beat. San Diego style steak burrito was excellent. Single size nachos was pretty big. Jalapeño burger was very good though rubbery in texture. The chili dog was the only negative. It tasted like something out of a can. Skin was not "poppy" at all. Texture was akin to chewy Vienna sausage. The taste was awful as well. Something like vegemeat.
