Amazing and comforting Filipino food favorites at Milky Way Power Plant Mall. Of course, my family loves the dinuguan. Simply the best! Then there's the caldereta and the adobong pusit, both equally delicious. Extra rice please! Hahaha. For dessert, it's a tie between guinumis and halo-halo. They also sell frozen food such as longganisa and dinuguan, etc. Yum!
I keep looking for a very good, authentic filipino restaurant in Taguig and Makati area but always gets disappointed in the end. My sister took me to Rockwell and asked me where I want to eat. I always say, where there is filipino food 😄 so she said, let's go to Milky Way! I didn't know about this place, so it was my first time. It reminded me of SM fast food court in the basement, where you point out which food you like and serve it to you. I just had Sinigang na Baboy the day before but it was "meh" (MANAM wtheck?!) So I want to give it a second try. We ordered Sinigang na Baboy, Adobong Pu…
This is a classic Filipino food destination. The Halo halo is excellent, the ice is perfectly shaved and milky and the blend of ingredients is good. The service is nowhere close to the Pasay Road location even if prices are similar. I asked the crew for a menu and prices but they said they had none and prices of items were not displayed or marked. They said everything is turo-turo or you point at it. There's only a brief flash of the menu on the screen. Too fast for me to catch in a picture. Cashier was not too friendly or helpful.
Milky Way Cafe has hands down the best halo-halo in the area. Enjoy this place while sitting next to live music (if your lucky). The food here is more cafeteria like meals, unlike their flagship branch on pasay road.
