A cozy hole in the wall that gives you a whole japanese pub experience. Service by Vic was excellent and will educate you in the basics of drinking sake. Starting with serving a glass of sake served in a small wooden box called a masu. They intentionally pour sake into the glass until it overflows into the box. The box is made of hinoki, and the spilled sake gives off a fragrance. After you finish your drink in the glass, it is acceptable to drink the remaining sake directly from the box. Really enjoyed the vibes at this sake bar– proper cozy atmosphere and spot-on interior. Food was top-notch, and the service from the two lovely waiters was amazing – friendly and approachable. And the sake? Absolutely banging! Already planning our next visit with friends!!
Came here knowing very little about sake. The server at the time was Victor who we asked to give us recommendations as beginners. We got 2 tasting flights. First one was a good mix of different flavor profiles which helped show us distinctions in style. 2nd one we asked for weird stuff which definitely showed us what sake can be when you step away from the usual cheap konbini fare. A criminally underrated hole in the wall Sake bar. Quiet, intimate and very refined for its small space, Minnano sparks minute grandeur through its wine tasting menu, thus introducing well-loved Japanese drinks to newer audiences. Staff are friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, and the decor is minimal so you can focus on the drinks, adding to the authenticity.
Amazing service, great selection, and calm vibe. Spent about ₱2.8k for 4 servings. The servers know exactly what to recommend according to your taste. I’ll certainly be back to try the rest! 😊
