Got the Marutoku Tsukemen. Food serving was huge - came here after a 30-minute fasted cardio session which means I was really starving but it took me a while to finish everything even though I only got the regular size. The Yuzu in the broth really helped in reducing the "umay factor" which you usually get when eating thick and creamy broths. Would be nice if the chashu slices were thicker and if they offer a side of bean sprouts since it feels like the balance between the ramen noodles and the veggies/meat is a bit off unlike other ramen places. The complementary tea was a nice touch as well…
Delightful Experience at Mitsuyada Sei-men I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mitsuyada Sei-men located in the bustling Forbestown Centre. This restaurant truly exceeded my expectations with its exquisite menu and reasonable pricing. The Korean Seafood Ramen was a standout dish. It was both tasty and hearty, providing a comforting warmth that only a well-made ramen can offer. The spice level was just right - enough to give it a kick, but not overpowering, allowing the flavors of the seafood to shine through. Another dish that left a lasting impression was the Ebi Tempura Rice. The te…
Our go to place for tsukemen ever since they opened their first branch in Jupiter over a decade ago. They also serve all sorts of ramen if you’re not into the dipping kind. More of a quick and casual resto but service was exceptionally attentive.
Happy to find this restaurant during a hectic weekend in BGC. Highstreet is pretty swarmed so happy to find this place which perfect for catching up. This place is along Forbes and the price is so affordable. It’s rare to find budget friendly restaurants in BGC. Food is really good and filling. They also give complimentary cold/hot tea while waiting. Service is friendly and very prompt. Just one note about the tuna not being available during our visit! Maybe that’ll be another reason for us to go back here 😄
Went here for the Tsukemen and the Ramen. Out of the bat, broth for the ramen is thicker, darker with an ambiguous clarity to it. Chashu is bigger with a thicker slice and it has a bite to it. Soft as it is but not quite as tender as I expected it to be. The Tsukemen broth on the otherhand is good when paired with the cold ramen. Its quite tedious to select the cold noodles or place it in a spoon then dip it in the broth but thats the whole point to not overcooking the noodles. Dumping all the hot broth on the noodle bowl defeats the purpose as what other customers do. If that is the case the…
