Went here friday at around 6pm, and we were the only ones there but came 6:30pm, the seats are already filled. Order tsukumen with additional cheese sauce, gyoza (so-so), spicy tuna (the best!), and their coffee jelly (must-try!). The tsukumen broth had that rich umami taste. Service was great. Overall experience is 5/5 plus got 50% off because of a CC promo.
Always a good time for a bowl of ramen at Mitsuyado Sei-men. Earlier, we had gyoza and tempura maki delivered from here. But we decided to come over to have a proper lunch after my daughter's sport competition. We all ordered the Ajitama shoyu ramen and a side order of spicy tuna salad. The ramen was really good. And the store ambiance helped in making the meal enjoyable. Thankful that customers who dined that time spoke in hushed tones.
Update: 06/28/2024 While it still remains a top pick, they have been running out of my favorite dishes whenever I visit. The spicy tuna hasn’t been available during my past 4 visits (last three months). Today they weren’t able to serve any type of Taukumen and had run out of pork Ramen. So if you are after any of those, it might be better to call them first. On the other hand, my new discovery were the Ajimata Ton Shoyu Ramen (subtle flavor but good) and the chicken black pepper don (spicy). Because of these, I will lower my previous review. Previous review: One of my favorite Japanese…
Mitsuyado Seimen is our solid go to place for authentic tsukemen. They offer various types but I always go for the basic yuzu tsukemen with cold noodles. It’s best paired with karaage or their dumplings. You also can’t go wrong with their fried rice. If you’re not in the mood for tsukemen they also offer pork & chicken based shoyu & shio ramen, they also have the mazesoba which I also like in place of tsukemen. The prices of food are reasonable and the portions are pretty decent too.
We had lunch here. We recognized the Yamato bakery beside it which we liked. The restaurant different kinds of ramen. I tried a chicken soup based ramen. They also offer rice bowl meals. The waiting time for food is about 20 minutes. They provide free hot and cold house tea. One thing I judge a good Japanese restaurant is the quality of their tea and their tea is good. The lighting of the restaurant is a little dark but it suits the interior design. The staff is responsive and promptly refills our drinks. You can pay cash and credit card. Parking is outside. The guard is helpful while your pa…
