Saw this online and noted the interesting concept, so I tried this place for the first time and it did not disappoint! I got the shabu-shabu set with some meat. The Wagyu was really soft and tender and paired well with the ponzu while chuck eye was a little tough but good as well. The Sakura berry iced tea was sweet and tasted like candy (which I don’t really like but you might). I’m not a fan of lychee either so the sorbet was not my type but did its job as a palette cleanser. We got the classic tiramisu for dessert and it was good - very creamy, though the sponge cake underneath was pretty …
Guess we craved it again 😅 Got to try the sukiyaki this time and it was really good, albeit a little too sweet. It succeeds in adding flavor to the meat and sides. Got a different cut of wagyu beef this time and it was still very tender. The Yuzu Mango Fizz was also delicious and refreshing, though I believe it could do without the mango. Til next time!
One of my favorite shabu-shabu and sukiyaki spots in the metro! The shabu-shabu broth is light and comforting, while the sukiyaki leans pleasantly sweet and rich. Their meats are high-quality and consistently fresh—definitely a place I keep coming back to.
