Delicious food and fast service… Plus affordable…
Mon’s Lapaz Batchoy. A local Filipino restaurant taught by a Filipino teacher. The owner of the restaurant is from Iloilo, so you can eat Iloilo's Batchoy. I got takeout, and the bat choy here was less salty than the one in Cebu and had a lot of toppings. Romy is also apparently a specialty, but I didn't have a chance to try it. They also serve breakfast, and there is a restaurant with the same name in Station 1, so it seems to be a popular restaurant. Extra Special Batchoy 145 pesos. Lomi 145 pesos.
We sell local Filipino food. It was delicious! Because it’s so hot because there’s no air conditioning. Turn the two fans towards me. If you want to eat local food, I recommend going to a place with no air conditioning and a lot of locals rather than a restaurant like Kuya J. Sausage + fried egg + rice + tuna sinigang + calamansi juice costs 650 pesos. Wanna try filipino meal? Go visit a place which is crowded with natives and doesn't have an air conditioner just like this restaurant! Food was good! Thanks.
They called mami noodles as Lapaz batchoy. The lechon kawali was actually a pork chop, and a mediocre squid posing for 2-3 servings that could only pass for one adult. Lots of flies and cats while dinning, I could go on and on. There are plenty of choices out there, just stay away from this place.
