Non-commercial type of resto. It feels like dining at a family home with good food. One of the best kare-kare. We had the bulalo kare-kare. The meat was tender and the sauce was peanutty but not the peanut butter kind. If you are not in a rush and craving for home style cooking, this resto is worth a visit.

We had a good breakfast. Tosino and longanisa are delicious; coffee is not too strong which is just the right taste for me; place is cozy; and staff are accommodating. Make reservation 6 hours or a day before going to the place.

I finally visited Nanay Cirilas' KAPENG BARAKO, a Filipino restaurant! I arrived with my sister and niece during lunch time. We decided to look around outside the restaurant and WOW! I loved the motorcycle display, and the garden was beautiful. It felt so tropical. When I walked inside the restaurant, I felt homey right away. The place was so clean, and the table arrangement and the decorations were breathtaking. We were greeted with a friendly welcome, and the host led us to our table.
