We tried this time their Cheeseburger and the Chili Cheese Dog, it was good, but the buns could have been better. I find it very pricey. You could buy a lot more on other store for the same price. But, it’s still worth trying for the taste.
Nathan's Famous, Vertis North - From the start, i said to myself, I'm not here for the authenticity or the original taste. I'm here for the history. A New York restaurant that may have existed before McDonald's is here , why miss out? The hotdogs we're great, nothing spectacular. Size a bit too thin. But the taste and their selection of milkshakes remind me of the good old diner days. And for our we know, they're yet to come back. Crunchy on the outside and sweet onion on the inside. Of course the crinkle cut fries are perfect. The hotdogs all beef no fillers. A real treat. Prices are fair. If you have a drink. Try the old fashioned lemonade. Its perfect. Just tell them very little ice. Staff was pleasant and eager to be of service to you.
For me this place is a case of "more hype" than it actually is. It's a known brand and that drives people to try it. At the end of the day, it's just an expensive beef hotdog (and it's quite thin to boot) that you can load up with toppings that aren't really that special. Oh yes, the toppings cost extra too - except for onions and relish which are free - which you'll have to ask for because they won't point that out. The rest - chili, jalapeno, cheese, sauerkraut - all are about 30 pesos each. I loaded my hotdog with 4 toppings and due to the thin nature of the hotdog, I only ended up tastin…
