Celebrated our friends birthday here. The food was very good!! ordered the Malatang and Salted Coffee. Malatang had the right amount of spice even with some chunks of chilis in it while the Salted Coffee was a good balance of sweet and bitter. Got to try their spring rolls too and Vietnamese Pizza.
Very impressed with their signature iced coffee for only 79 pesos. There's a chocolatey taste on first sip and I think that's the effect of combining condensed milk with their coffee. Non-aircon open air sila so expect mosquitoes to bite you din pala which is understandable naman. Pero basta the iced coffee I had can still compensate for the minor lamok issue.
One wouldn't expect to be served authentic vietnamese coffee in Comembo, Makati but here's Ngon giving legit 🇻🇳 coffee reminiscent of what you'll have from across the South China Sea.
Good resto to satisfy soup cravings. Pho and banh mi are okay for its price. It took a while before the food was served. We’d still go back if we crave some viet food.
We ordered the following, and here is the review: 1.Pho - soup is flavor full but too peppery. Also, preferred to be more light. I even prefer the soup given for the tapsilog my partner ordered. But over-all it is good. (3.9/5) 2. Tapsilog - the meat is tender. But the egg is over-cooked. Maybe beter to ask the doneness of the egg. The serving of meat is hmmm not just many. But the rice is much. Not sure if the meat is also beef. (4/5) 3. Fresh spring roll - the sauce is good but the springroll itself lacks of freshness. The noodles is too many. Better to lessen the noodles. It is not prop…
