The food is really average for the price. There’s lots of other similar, if not better, Japanese food in the city. Tempura was bland, and the ceviche had way too many raw tomatoes.
Simply ask for Omakase, traditional or seasonal. Nobu is always costly but worth the quality. The service is remarkable.
sarap pero not worth it
4.5/5 ⭐️ Stunning venue and excellent service. Comparable to the Nobu at home in Melbourne, Australia. Food was also delicious. Star of the show was the Cod - impeccable just as I remember. The disappointments were the Umami chicken which was too dry and lacked any kind of unique flavour which I was expecting from something labelled as umami. The crispy rice and tuna also lacked in depth of flavour. Everything else was fantastic and faultless. Absolutely worth the money and our favourite meal we had in Manila.
TLDR: This place is the best for seafood lovers with enough bucks to spare. The ambience is welcoming and all the staff members were polite and well mannered. They were all very nice and made sure to make us feel welcome which we truly appreciated the most because you would not feel awkward even as a first time diner. For the price, Yes it is expensive but you will dine there to explore how best food can taste like and not to just fill your tummy with whatever. Lastly, trust the set menu. We ordered an additional item and realized we didn’t need to because the set is already very filling. …
