Great restaurant! The food was by far the best I had on the island!! The brisket was great 10/10 (although I didn't take a photo), and the soup and the mango smoothie were great too. The main dishes cost around 500 peso and are totally worth the value! Please do yourself a favor and try it.
What a gem on an island of restaurants with overpriced bad food! The food was delicious, they had non-veg options as well, and all was really well-cooked and beautifully presented. No bland or greasy food here! Loved the place and regretted not finding it earlier. Special cudos for the chicken and coconut soup (pictured) and tofu tacos. They have two other cafes on the island, I visited the Mexican one (Muchos) and it was just as good!
Where do I start with a place like Nonie's? I should say on a weekday for dinner time it should not be empty. We walked past twice after and again it was the same. If you're looking for very healthy food, then this place is for you. Food is a bit pricey, but the ingredients used are indeed expensive. We tried the food bowls. It was delicious and really healthy. The proportions are just enough for one healthy meal. It also enough to fill your stomach. The staff are all attentive and accommodating. (There is service charge) The only downside is the entire restaurant was filled with smoke when they grilled some food. The restaurant has a poor exhaust system. The staff had to open the front doors just so the smoke can go out.
