A great place for Matcha at a really affordable price. We enjoyed our orders here! The matcha latte for me was the best. It was refreshing and you could taste the matcha. Then it was not powdery at all. It is by default using oat milk said by the staff. The mochi ice cream was also great. The mochi was flavorful and sticky. The ice cream was refreshing and had a matcha taste as well. There's no parking space here though so we had to get it for takeaway. Note that the matcha taste may not be strong as some other places, but those places are more expensive.
The place is small however the food and drinks are worth it to visit. We ordered chocolate drizzled matcha ice cream with oreo and kitkat toppings, along with Honey Toast (Honey & Butter Bread) and Tamago Sando Sandwich (Egg & Mayo), we also ordered some drinks which is Aichi Signature Latte (Brown drink) and Strawberry Matcha Latte (Pink drink with Matcha Ice cream topping along with sandwiches on the pic), lastly we ordered Matcha Strawberry Float (Solo pic drink on the table) and Matcha Oreo Frappe (Solo pic with a hand). Those may look the same but are definitely different. I am also a No…
Small quaint place along the Banawe area that serves Japanese themed drinks and food. Tried the Mochi Matcha snack and it tasted great!! The Matcha wasn't too bitter, and the ice cream was well executed. Really interesting snack that I couldnt find anywhere else in Banawe. Since there's no dedicated parking, I recommend this place for takeout. They open up early in the morning, so please do visit early!
the place is small and lines get a bit long, so you really have to queue or arrive early. there's not much seating space, so it really takes patience. we tried a few items like their matcha mochi ice cream, matcha strawberry frappe, and mochi bites among others. as a matcha fan, the taste is a bit too sweet but could be fixed with a bit of toning down. their ice cream is also made on the spot i think or takes a bit of time when it cools down, but the consistency was satisfactory. the mochi ice cream gets a bit hard to eat but it makes sense because of the sticky nature of the mochi. the moch…
Disclaimer: I’m not a matcha fan. Recommended by our nephew and niece, we visited this cute little spot in search of dessert. They are huge matcha enthusiasts, but I’m not. They absolutely loved the matcha ice cream covered in mochi, but I only enjoyed the mochi part, as it was soft and pillowy. I also appreciated the iced Americano. The place was bustling when we arrived, so we had to wait a bit. Still not a matcha fan, so my opinion does not matter here. My nephew and niece are though, and they gave this place a thumbs up.
