One of our go to Japanese restaurants in Banawe. Beef, shrimp and gindara teppan, maki and tamago - yummmm + sashimi - fresh! Highly recommended. I’ll rate this a 4/5 because the staff is not accommodating.
It's one of my favorite Japanese restaurants near Banawe Their food is always high quality & the plating always looks very appetizing Consistently great is what I like from this restaurant If you are in the mood to experiment, try the Octopus Ponzu If you want a solid & classic dish, try the katsudon & salmon maki I have been here about 6 times. Perfect each time.
Great dining experience because of their great service! All servers were alert. They even ask “how’s our food? Are there anything we like”. They open their restaurant on time. The place was very clean. Perfect to celebrate special occasions. For the food, everything was deliscious! My kids love everything. They even ask me to come back and dine again. Oedo became their favorite Japanese restaurant!
Great food though a little pricey compared to other authentic japanes restaurants nearby… My chirashi was awesome. Variety of seafood and balanced with pickled ginger mixed on sushi rice. My only comment for that was it didn’t have uni. I clearly asked the staff before ordering if uni is available and she said yup. And then no uni on my meal :( I think the replacement was the toppings of oedo maki… anyway I hope I was informed. Creamy seafood chowder? Forgot the exact name. I think it’s a unique menu among all jap restaus we’ve been. Delicious, not salty, generous pieces of seafood. Recomme…
I've been visiting this restaurant since they were newly opened before pandemic days. The foods was not bad as I've tried most of their dishes except Tepenyaki which I guess they opened this section before or after pandemic only. I've found that their ramen was not as tasty compared to other ramen, a bit watery and the egg is not that Japanese style. At least the ambiance is good as you can get the Japanese feel inside. The parking is somehow challenging so you have to be a bit earlier like 5pm so you could beat the long queue particularly peak hours. Overall, it's still a good Japanese cuis…
