Food: 🍥 The appetizers were amazing! I love the spicy anchovies, miso soup and kimchi. 🍤🥣 The chawan mushi was bland and took some time to serve. The ebi tempura is standard but no wow-factor. The chahan rice was savory and can be enjoyed as is. Service: Staff were attentive. Atmosphere: Standard. Good for either solo diners or groups.
I was to busy eating to take pics lolol. I'm sure everyone who didn't like the food came on a off day. just got here when they got fresh meat and seafood i think hence the freshness. It's Thursday before pay day weekend as the locals call it. Salmon and maguro sashimi was straight up fantastic. Cube steak or whatever they called is 8.5 out of 10 better here then mamous . Shrimp tempura was good not over cooked 7.5 8 even fresh. Ebi sushi 8 only to much rice. All in all I really liked the place tried tried it with my friend Dave and I'm glad he said lets try this place Very very ve…
We have dined here many times. Initially, the service was slow, requiring us to order. Now, they offer a buffet, which is convenient. If a dish isn't available on the buffet, one can request it from a menu. The sashimi is excellent, and the ribeye is best enjoyed while hot.
Ogetsu Hime primarily serves Japanese food - sushi, tempura, teppanyaki, etc. The restaurant's set-up has readily available cooked food that customers can easily get, and the other is made to order (mostly for sushi, rolls, and drinks) where you have to fill up a form. The meat and tempura were good, but the sushi section was underwhelming and disappointing. I ordered a sushi moriawase, which has a bit of everything... but was surprised that not everything on their menu is available! No uni, ebi, tako, and ika. It's so disappointing that we paid the full price and yet they don't have the comp…
Disappointing experience at Ogetsu Hime. This Japanese buffet falls short with mostly mediocre to subpar offerings. The frequently run out of items, leaving the buffet spread empty while they're still cooking. Additional menu items cooked to order took a long time to arrive. For the price, I'd recommend exploring other non-buffet options for better Japanese food
