A quiet spot inside the mall that offers good food and coffee. Ideal for meetings. We haven't tried the rice meals yet, but the latte was okay (it came with biscuits). 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 ⬇️ https://cutt.ly/begV4zfg
Sulit ang Kare-Kare but I think coffee is overpriced based on its taste.
They serve Filipino cuisine. Tastes like home cooking. Reasonable pricing. Service is fast. Food quantity quite generous. We ordered mango and calamanai juice. It didn't quite taste like fruit juices, but obtained from canned juices. No big deal, it was tasty enough and not too sweet; we just expexted freshly prepared fruit juice. Place wasn't full at lunch time on a weekday. Good for having a quiet conversation.
Old manila is a basic establishment with a retro look and feel. Everything about the place is basic, the food, the service and the atmosphere. I had espresso, brewed coffee, and a tocino. No condiments are offered with the food, and the coffee is a very burnt taste, initially questionable, but it grows on you. As a black coffee drinker and not a milkshake drinker, it's important that the establishment has good black coffee as a base. If you are into dark burnt roast, then old manila might be for you.
I ordered a DECAF. I asked three times if they really serve it. Same thing when I got the coffee just to make sure it is really decaffeinated. They said "yes". I am still wide awake up until 3am and I have to got to work at 7am. This has never happened to me with decafs from other cafes. I am beyond disappointed. Did they get my order wrong or they don't really serve decaf?
