Tried the restaurant just for dessert and coffee. We tried the buko salad pie and kapeng bukid. Didn't expect to like the pie as much as I did because I generally don't appreciate buko pie. The custard really melts in your mouth and the different ingredients tasted well together and it wasn't overly sweet. I appreciate the man (forgot to ask his name) who was very knowledgeable about their products and recommended the coffee that paired well with the pie. The kapeng bukid tasted great, both as iced and hot. It didn't have that sour and acrid taste. Didn't need to add milk or sugar because i…
Kinda persuaded by the owner but the food was okay. Kinda expensive. :(
We weren't supposed to eat here...but naharang kami and we were captured by the owners enthusiastic narrative. Food was ok but a bit on the expensive side. I felt like it wasnt worth it. We were given complimentary sourdough bread wirh homemade butter. Then We ordered the chicken wings that was cooked just right . Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Tastewise...ok lang. Nothing worth returning for. Sisig platter was good, my son thought it could use a bit more seasoning. Tocino was dissapointing. It tasted like dried underseasoned barbecue. The pumpkin soup was thick but a bit blan…
As a new resto around our mall I should try the place. Really as it looks good. So we tried the most safe ones on the menu which is the tapas, it's okay, taste is good. But for the price we think it's too much. So maybe not that worth it. You can get better ones on other resto with the same price. But overall since the place is nice and the owners and staffs are accomodating I give it 3 stars. Im not that bad even I'm a cat.
Ambiance & Service: The side benches were uncomfortable. Service was inconsistent — one server insisted the pumpkin soup only had salt and pepper despite its strong flavor. After checking with the chef, he admitted it had turmeric. Taste & Presentation: The taste was okay but nothing worth coming back for. Given the price, I expected better presentation — the Tapang Taal was plated like a carinderia meal. Value for Money: Overpriced for its average taste and portions. Probability of Return: 👎🏼 Overall experience: Expected more for the price and hype. The owner’s strong pitch about their fa…
