The ramen has really thick broth, and the chashu is SUPERB. One of my absolute favorite things is the meat. The gyoza is also packed full, so it's worth it. Pricey, yes, but Mendokoro doesn't disappoint. Don't expect sushi/sashimi on the menu, as their specialty focuses mostly on ramen. But they do have a chizu burger and it's also really good! Staff is very friendly and conversant, and responds quickly. Ambiance is also lively. Mendokoro Ramen is located on Solomon Street, just behind V. Corporate Center in Salcedo Village, Makati. It’s part of the Nippon Hasha group, and one of my top three favorite ramen spots. I’ve been a loyal customer since 2012, back when the first branch opened, and this is their second venture, but the first under the Mendokoro name. The best shoyu ramen and gyoza in philipines. All staff is kind and professional, have try their burgers and others ramen but shoyu ramen and pork gyoza is the best this 2 menus must try when you visit this place.

Excellent Ramen however loses a star to service. We sat down and were told to get up to order and pay at the counter (Which is fine). However after doing so and sitting down, other patrons came in and were sat down by staff, order taken and paid for at the table. Great ramen but strange way of operating.
