Ate here at 6:30pm (Sunday) and the place is full. It was kinda hot since the weather is humid and the table we occupied doesn't have a fan. Service crews are nice and already told us that serving time will be 45 minutes since we came at the peak hour. We ordered prawn grilled in lemon butter sauce, calamares, pusit black rice platter (this is interesting; can't say it's sooo good, but it's just fine), baked scallops (👍🏻), sinigang bangus, and buko halo. The food tastes fine, I liked the baked scallops the most. Buko halo is too sweet for me (with lots of kaong (came in 3 different colors) …
It was a good experience the good was okay but the view of the ocean is just astonishing been there last June for lunch I was on vacation with my aunt's family and if you are going to misamis again I highly recommend it. Btw everything was great
It's my first time here, not just in CDO but in Mindanao. I heard that this is the popular local restaurant here in CDO, thus we tried here in SM. Our orders were all must try in their menu. Only one stands out, which is the squid ink rice, everything else is just plain normal. Service is bad, no courtesy and I'm not sure if they are really that not attentive or just ignoring us whenever we will call for assistance. For seafood, I like better the MAGSUGBA TA SEAFOOD AND GRILL also here in CDO.
had late lunch just now... one of the 2 mango shakes we ordered had several shreds of clear plastic (see photo) probably from the ice used. d goat caldereta only had a few slices of skin and no meat, only several chunks of bones, d rest are vegetables. order took long to serve considering the place was relatively empty as it was way past lunch time
The atmosphere is not appealing; expect large crowds and families, so the place gets noisy.
