I am a student here in Mapua University Makati, and I was on the lookout for japanese food. I saw this place some time ago but I did not want to try it back then, but now I have. The Katsu Curry pork was amazingly astounding, the taste is as authentic, and the serving is bigger than my hand!!! I will be coming back again soon, I love the food here it's freshly made and hot serving and might try out some more menu items soon 😋 Comparable to marugame udon's menu items.
The pun, I will say, is definitely intended. It was in no way a fancy japanese restaurant, and I like that it didn't pretend to be. The ambiance was okay, nothing fancy, just plain tables and chairs. The food was okay too, but I think it is a bit pricey. It was good enough to satisfy my japanese food craving, but for the gold-laden tongue, it might not be.
This is a Japanese restaurant that opened recently. This is a full-fledged Japanese restaurant run by Japanese people. It is mainly a yakiniku restaurant , but you can eat ramen and tonkatsu at a reasonable price! Lunch is also reasonable and recommended not only for Japanese but also for Filipinos!😊
Authentic Japanese flavors. Maguro sashimi was fresh and katsu curry portion was generous.
I really enjoyed the food—huge servings and definitely worth the price. However, I was very concerned about the hygiene. I saw a HUGE RAT near the plate shelves, and when I got home and opened my takeaway, there was HAIR and DUST in the meal box, which seemed like it had been sitting around for a while. It's a shame because the food was great, but I won’t be returning due to these cleanliness concerns
