Chamsig, a combination of Pansit Chami (sweet and sometimes spicy noodle dish made from miki or fresh egg noodles) and Sisig (parts of a pig head, is one of the best food discoveries I've ever had in Lucena. Elsewhere, I've enjoyed these Filipino foods so much individually, but having them together was simply brilliant! It actually comes with a lot of sauce but, in my opinion, the dish is already good on its own but with some calamansi. The thick, fun-to-chew noodles plus the meaty, generously served sisig really made a good first impression. This is the type of dish I'd recommend to friends…
