Finally, a Paolito's at ACC! The signature Paolito's Tuna Panga is always a crowd pleaser and a great filling lunch option when you're craving for some seafood. Having one at Ayala Center Cebu is a great addition to this malls very vibrant restaurant scene. The best thing about this branch is it doesn't have those long lines you usually find over at SM seaside hence we were immediately seated and got to order instantly. We got the butter shrimps, tuna panga (of course) and the crab fried rice. Everything was great. The cook of the shrimps was perfect! They were not overcook and were overly …
Staff were welcoming and lovely. Patiently introducing their traditional and signatures. Food took some time to be served. Baked scallops were small. Buttery and on a sweet side. Cooked just right. Sinugbang gusok was a grilled pork ribs. It was in big portion. We two unable to finish it. It was soft and juicy. Easily tear apart. Incredibly meaty. Kinilaw was refreshing and tangy. A refreshing dish to balance out the meatiness. While serving with a plate of rice, we added a curry mixed vegetables. Nothing special but nice to be serving such variety of vegetables. Overall, not bad.
Baked scallop is tiny meaning it shrunk due to being over baked but still served cold. It is also stuck to the shell and impossible to get out as seen in the picture Sotanghon guisado is dry and pinaket is overcooked. Service is bad too, they didn't remind me I was ordering a sharing size portion and laughed infront of me when served. I get it a solo tourist ordering enough to feed a family is funny but laugh back in the kitchen not infront of me. Guess they are great for local families as it only costed PHP815 which is the same cost for a small BBQ at a beach
Food: An elevated Filipino food presentation. Taste has almost identical to regular places. However the serving was generous. Takes some time for food to be served. Service: Accomodating all through out. Atmosphere: Great homage to ancestral Filipinos houses. Displays olden things around the place. It was interesting.
went there September 22, 2024 to order takeout but staff ignored us because me and my brother wore simple clothes. Just because customers wear simple clothing that doesn't mean that they can't afford to pay. the staff are very judgmental yet they themselves are not rich
