coffee shop with nice ambiance inside fort santiago. tried their gulaman coffee and my husband got the taho one. gulaman's ok but i don't think i'll order it again. good for experience. would come back for the cat or if i'm around the area

Such a quaint little coffee shop. It's definitely a great stopover from touring and a refuge from the rain. Make sure to look for it when you go to Intramuros. I hope they stay for a long time.

Cute little cafe imside fort Santiago. It is located behind the wall after Rizal house.
You can take a break here after walking around intramuros area. I tried their unique gulaman coffee and it’s alright. The chocolate cupcake was also good. I stayed for a while to read a book. It’s a relaxing place because of the natural breeze brought about by the trees outside. Lovely place overall.

Situated near the Rizal Shrine, this coffee shop serves unique local concoctions. The place provides a nice respite from the humid air around Fort Santiago. We tried the Black Gulaman Americano and the Mango Sampalok Iced Tea, and neither of them disappointed - flavor-wise both were spot on, although I feel that there was too much ice; it might be good if you intend to hang out long and let the ice melt, otherwise for a quick drink it's a bit too much ice and the drink itself is too few.
