Loved eating here while the mrs is busy shopping for groceries. Additional: The temperature of the soup base of the pares mami is a bit "feverish". Please make it very hot because the soup is no longer that appetizing when cold. You lost one star because of this.

Great pares, tender aromatic beef. Shop inside Waltermart. Fair prices. Silog meal can be more enjoyable if tocino is caramelized a bit., but i guess that is how it is served.

Pare Retiro is located at the Ground or First Floor of Waltermart, E. Rodriguez, Quezon City. It is near the grocery store so it is very easy to spot. The store is medium sized and has a cozy ambience. The staff are friendly and nice but they did mess up two orders, ours and another customer's. That was very minor but a bit disappointing. Then again the food was very delicious. I loved their pares and my wife got their lechonsilog (lechon meat, sinangag or fried rice, and egg or itlog). I would love to visit this store again.

The food was not delicious, but surprisingly expensive. The serving size of the premium Pares was disappointingly small and not worth the 200-peso price. I was also disappointed in the 80-peso budget meal as it was mostly rice with a small amount of toppings. Overall, I was unsatisfied, The food is even tastier in a carinderia or at a fast food chain like Jollibee. Also, the kitchen was dirty, #paresretarded #dimasarap #sayangpera
