Oct 2024 Manila Pares chain with a number of locations across the metropolis. The bestsellers are the original Pares and another is the lechonsilog and bone marrow. The garlic rice is well made with crunchy bits. Pares broth was aromatic and flavourful. Very small serving but price point was fastfood standard. Some of the Pares meat was a bit tough though as they should have been slow cooked. The lechon pieces were a bit under fried so wasnt crisp and also a bit tough. But flavors were there. If you get hungry in the middle of traffic along C5, you can visit this place. The set up is like a fastfood restaurant. There are condiments available to add flavors to your orders. All of the servings are good for one person only. Prices are a little bit pricey but at least you are eating pares in an air conditioned room. This is self - service restaurant. There is ample parking in front .

It's okay. Pares is nothing special, while service is practically non-existent as everything is self service (water, spoon + fork, soup). Waiters/waitresses constantly have a frowning face when you talk with them which leaves people wary of talking with them. On the bright side, the food was served quickly albeit with a smaller serving than most places.

Underwhelming. Food is served cold, most of the menu are unavailable, and the utensils and cup smells like dishwashing soap - which greatly affects the taste. I was hoping for a savory pares but to my surprise it was sweet.
