This review is for Pepper Lunch as a whole: Their food is okay, not so amazing but also not bad. But my general opinion is that, their food is overhyped and over priced. I ordered the Beef Pepper Steak Combo, and it cost me 430 pesos. Not that I can't afford it, but i just felt that the food that I got is really not worth 430 php,maybe somewhere in the vicinity of 250 php. Sizzling sisig is way better, way way better in terms of taste.

Ah Pepper Lunch. The last Pepper Lunch I've been to before eating at this place was about 6 years ago in Singapore. Where every 2 months or so would treat myself to pepper ladened yakiniku beef in a sizzling plate. Those were the days and, not much has changed - except they have a bit more variety. And, just like before, this a-bit-pricey yakiniku dish still won't fill you up. But, one thing's for sure - you get that same sweet salty umami peppery taste you'd been craving for. You kind of get what you pay for. It’s not great but ok. Just be careful that this is just a small pepper lunch EXPRESS so they don’t have the full palette of choices. No red rice , no big plates... Food is very average but also super cheap so I think the you get you money’s worth. I had to put a lot of squat and waited too long for my food. Besides that it was fine. A very hectic food court above the cinema, not a very nice ambience.
