FOOD - the selection is mixed of average to must try recipes... - noodle is too soft for my pallet and their soup is bland and lacking of stock flavor. The meatball is full of juicyness. - try their KHAO KLUK KAPI (bagoong rice) and you'll not be alienated with its umami taste. Soots to filipino tounge. AMBIENCE - laid back quiet SERVICE - dine-in staffs hardly attends to customers and always busy going to the kitchen or going out to call out malling customers.
Excellent food! We ordered the sampler set with Chai Yen and we were very satisfied. The kra pow and pad thai are delicious. More branches pa sana. SM Fairview perhaps? 🤭
This is actually a new location on Rizal in BGC located inside Marugame restaurant. I order the chicken holy basil which I always try to see how authentic the Thai food is and this was the best and most authentic I have eaten here. Definitely I will become a regular. It was perfectly seasoned and slightly maanghang. I'm looking forward to trying other dishes. BTW, it came with a fried egg on top of the rice which is not authentic but I think it made the dish even better.
The noodles sampler was good but not mindblowing. We enjoyed the Thai Fried chicken but it tasted like Pinoy fried chicken to be honest. I really enjoyed the pad thai though it could use more toppings since the shrimps were tiny. It was also nice that the sampler came with chai yen, which tasted really good. My toddler actually enjoyed it. Overall, it was good but forgettable.
Stopped by for a quick lunch and tried their Pad Thai for the first time—I was pleasantly surprised! The dish was loaded with toppings and tasted quite similar to what I’ve had in Bangkok. I also liked the doneness of the noodles 💯 Finished with the mango sticky rice, which was just as enjoyable. Would like to try their soup noodles next. Overall, a solid casual Thai spot that won’t break the bank!
