I was walking in BGC when I suddenly got hungry. I knew Popeyes had been opening up in the Philippines. So I decided to give it a try. I have only been to one in Jakarta, Indonesia so far and was impressed. I tried the spicy chicken combo with Cajun fries and coke. The Cajun fries are in my opinion the best fast food fries. I went there to get take out, but their packaging is weak and wonky. I walked from Popeye's to my office building only for the paper bag to collapse and for the drink container to spill out so much content. The serving for gravy is not even enough for my 2-piece meal. It took about 40 minutes til I got my order when I was told to only wait for 15-20. I get that it's during peak hours but they should have given notice for the customers that it will take time. We recently visited Popeyes and were excited to try their Cajun rice. Unfortunately, we ended up waiting 30 minutes for it, which was quite frustrating. On the bright side, their fried chicken is undeniably yummy and made the wait somewhat worth it. I hope they can improve their service speed in the future.

The place is relatively new with nice functional furnitures, video boards etc. I am a fan of their biscuits. Chicken is good, well cooked and crispy.
