**Review of Princesa Garden Island Resort** Our stay at Princesa Garden Island Resort was truly enjoyable. The room was very spacious, providing ample room to relax and unwind. Homey ambience with its abundance of hard wood furniture & greenery. Spacious with several restaurants, bar, pools, function rooms. They have open-air theater. Visit their sandbar. Mangroves & coconut abound. Birds singing. Good food & warm service. Perfect for family & corporate meetings.

Honestly I'd give this place a miss. I stayed here in 2023, thinking it was a beach front resort, it's anything but that. It's surrounded by Mangroves with extremely low tide (very unattractive). The pool is the best thing about the the resort. The restaurant is nothing special. There was constant construction being done at the hotel (from what it sounds like, it's still going on almost 2 years later). Allah of this taken into consideration, this place should be charging $50/ night at most.

This is marketed as a 5 Star resort, but in most peoples eyes, this is a 3 star at best I arrived at 7am and was told room not ready until 3pm. I was offered a beach towel to use, but it was pouring with rain, so absolutely no use. I then had to pay around£120 for an early checking....after waiting 3 hours. Really not impressed at all!! On my second day,I became ill and perhaps It could be the food as I have not eaten anything but at the restaurant. Food is average and a tad overpriced. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The service was extremely poor. The room had no WIFI the entire stay. We called front desk multiple times regarding this, they said they would send IT to look at it, no one ever came. The WIFI never worked the entire 3 night stay. (Water Villa). The service was awful. We had to tow our bags from taxi to our rooms ourselves (5 bags, 2 of us), and then back from the room, onto the taxi. The Water villa is located at the furthest end of their resort. They said they would send bellboys to help, who never came. Meanwhile we watched the staff basically b…
