My Ramen n°1 in The Philippines! Perfect as usual! For a log time I was waiting to have a brach near at home. If you want an unique experience and original flavor of ramen this is the place. You have the option to seat on the bar, on couch table seat or a normal table. For a couple or a person the bar is a good experience, so you can look all the preparation of the meals. My fav plates are gyōzas and super Chashu Ramen (this ramen is not part of the menu they show only the regular Chashu but you can ask if this is available and them can make it for you... It's a big portion of Chashu soo …
I ordered the Hiyashi Chuka 😋😍 which the waitress described as “like a salad” which confused me because when it came it didn’t really have that vibe. Also, she described the wasabi as a mustard so i ate it and got surprised 😳 Anyway it was super good, would order again. We also got the Shio Ramen and it tastes good too 😋🍜. The place was pretty empty for the lunch rush so service and food was quick 💨

I found out about Yushoken from doing a Google search for the…
My favorite place in manila for ramen/tsukemen. The restaurant is exactly the same as Mendokoro, except the line isn’t as long and is not all bar seating. They even have the exact same menu as Mendokoro. They have the best Bonito Tsukemen. The dipping sauce was pretty authentic, i just wish they taught customers how to actually eat it. To properly eat Tsukemen at Yushoken, request for lemon wedges (by default they only give you calamansi vinegar). After dipping the noodles in the broth, squeeze lemon on the noodles each time before you eat it. After the noodles are finished, you will still ha…
- such a classic spot, obsessed with the broth of their shoyu!! - gyoza’s really good as well - if u want ur mendokoro fix but dont wanna brave through the lines, yushoken would more than suffice
