I’ve seen this place when I jog and i kept it on my mind to try this. And as we were on quandary what to eat last night, we passed by here. And surprisingly, it’s full! It’s a bit cramped but the service is okay. The place is near the hospitals and offices so it is full especially during dinnertime. We ordered miso (P200 for large serving) and mix maki (P200, 18 pcs). It’s a decent meal on a budget. There is a parking area which is a plus.
This is where you go when you are on a budget, and you would still get a decent meal. Their sukiyaki is also good for its price (it's good for 2-3 persons) and is always served hot. We also love their Crunchy California Maki because it has coleslaw on top, which gives the crunch to your maki. I also like their miso soup. The inly downside is the place is small and not all waiters are friendly.
The place is so cramped that you could hardly move. You can even listen to the conversations of the people in the adjacent tables without exerting any effort. The dishes are cheap and their prices affordable. The gyudon is sweeter than usual as it may seem that the cook put in an extra teaspoon of sugar or two. The beef is tough and full of ligaments. The chicken ramen is virtually devoid of chicken meat and the naruto is sliced so thin you can hardly taste it. Four years later, the beef ramen is still devoid of meat and full of unchewable shards of tough tissue.
Unmistakenly mediocre for japanese resto. I was taken aback when their Katsu Curry used filipino curry sauce rather than japanese curry. Their other option like ramen and sushi aren't special too. I personally don't see reason to go here unless an acquaintance is fond of the place. Staff was unresponsive for the time we were there (we were the only customers too). Food were also served at a questionably large margin from each order.
Affordable japanese food. We ordered kani salad, oyakudon (chicken katsudon) and tonkatsu. The salad came in a big platter I can say its good for 3-4 people. Its fresh and a good starter of the meal. The oyakudon is fried perfectly. The chicken meat is still soft and tender but the tonkatsu (pork) is a bit dry for me.
