We went here during our Cebu Tour because it was recommended, a bit disappointed sa lechon kasi hindi na sya crispy when we buy considering it was lunch time, the food is tasty, price is mid, hindi sya ganun kapricy compared if you will eat in Metro or BGC. Waiting time is okay lang din..
pretty tasty roasted pig, but the skin is not crispy. The satay and sinigang is good
Rico's Lechon - Axis Escario N Escario St, Cebu City, 6000 Cebu, Philippines While visiting Rico, one of Cebu’s highly recommended Lechon restaurants, I embarked on a culinary adventure at 3:00 pm. Yearning to savor their renowned Lechons, I indulged in a delightful order: 1/4 lb of Spicy Lechon, another 1/4 lb of the regular Lechon, rice, bottled water, and a refreshing cucumber with calamansi juice. Reflecting on my experience: 1. The staff, unfortunately, seemed to be having an off day, appearing a bit distant and slow-paced. Perhaps they were facing challenges that day. 2. Disappointm…
The Sisig was disappointing. It did not taste like any sisig I ever eat before and I have eaten sisig in many many places in the Philippines and the USA and I make sisig myself often. The lechon baboy was ok and the skin was chewy and not crispy. The lechon is mostly bones also.Overall the food isn’t terrible but it’s not that great either. Perhaps I should go earlier in the day because we came to eat near closing and maybe that’s their reason for less than quality food. Maybe….dor what I paid, 1170 pesos, overpriced.
if you’re looking for the best lechon in cebu, DON’T come here. you’ll only be disappointed—and this is coming from a local. the service is terrible, but the service fee is built into the bill. so you’re paying even though you absolutely shouldn’t be. food was served cold and was not at all worth the one hour wait. one of the dishes we ordered wasn’t available, and we weren’t told until after the food was served. and there was hair in the pinakbet! :,) again, PLEASE don’t come here if you’re looking for good lechon. or good food, for that matter. there’s many many other cebuano restaurants t…
