I liked the Lechon and the Kangkong only. We ordered crispy kangkong, lechon (regular and spicy), balbacua and munggo. We had been waiting for almost an hour when they just informed us that the balbacua was sold out so we had to change it to Sinuglaw. Then they were not able to serve the munggo, and as per them, we did not order it. The manager (I guess since he was not in uniform) repeated our order and we were sure we heard him mentioned it so we expected it. Kudos to him though to make it up. He went back with 2 bowls of munggo and gave us them for free! It was a nice dining experience b…
Their spicy lechon is indeed spicy, and I like it. What I guess sets Cebu Lechon apart is how generously well they put all of the flavor and spices in it. It's very flavorful. I like how honest they answer that the skin they might offer is already stale, but they offer to have it air-fried (which i don’t mind). The result is delectable, crispy skin again. They make their own vinegar, which is very good.
Service is a Little Slow. No available personnel to wait and take orders. This is an experience at lunch time. No wonder that during peak hours, in a Prime Location, the resto is not even half full... Food. Good as Okay... But not exemptional. Lechon was served cold. Dissapointing that it is the prime recipe and the must try at the venue.
Food tasted great. Serving sizes were small for their price point. We ordered a lot on their menu, we thought there'd be too much for two people that we'll end up taking them home but that's not what happened. Upside: food quality, place was clean Downside: staff aren't nice, not eager to serve or help. Almost felt like we owed them for eating there. The place is huge, the acoustics were terrible when people started coming in for lunch. Do we recommend this place? Maybe for delivery and takeout, instead of dining in. It's unfortunate because the place is huge. Are we going back? Maybe not.
First timer and didn't enjoy their food. We ordered spicy lechon, baked mussels, prawn sinigang, ensaladong talong, pansit canton and chorizo. I only enjoyed the chorizo but the rest didn't. Baked mussels were served like it was baked a few hours ago already, lechon was just okay, ensaladonh talong was dry, took a while to serve the prawn sinigang and pansit canton's serving was just too small. Can get crowded esp. during lunchtime where it will take a while to get the attention of the staff when you need anything. Staff chopping lechon must wear mask although they have it but they don't use …
